Design Wall Monday - Quilts for Boston

I am continuing working on creating quilt blocks for Quilts for Boston.  There are many creative quilt blocks in the Flickr group.

I have found that I don't have much yellow in my stash and really don't use it.  So I am putting "making something yellow" on my to-do list.

I think that these asterisks blocks go together quite quickly.  The pattern is from the Craftsy 2012 Block of the Month class.

  1. I've never made an asterisk block but it looks like a great pattern! I'm going to check out the pattern on Craftsy! I love blocks that go together quickly!

  5. Awesome asterisk blocks! I don't use yellow very often either. It was Pink Castle Fabric's Stash Stack color this month, though, so phew I have some to use for the Boston project. I do better with yellow than red, though--a funny color to have NONE of!
