Woo hoo, I finally have a finish.....well...kinda. Its a finished top. In 2012, I decided to try all new ideas and techniques. This is good as I have learned a lot. However, this has not been a good year for actually finishing many things. I think that my finishes have mostly been mini-quilts.
This is the second top that I made using the Made in Cherry pattern by Sarah Fielke. The first top is my Neapolitan Star. I really like this pattern and believe that I may make another someday. No idea when the quilting may be finished, so for now it goes in the "Tops To Be Quilted" pile.

Blogtoberfest - Day 5
Very nice you did a great job. By the way, I just noticed your new banner, supper cute!
ReplyDeleteNice fabric choices for your star. I love how it turned out.
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo, indeed! That is a cute star. I had to make it bigger so I could see those pretty fabrics in the center. Good going on your daily blogging too. Sounds like you have a good plan!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a lot of cutting and sewing. My daughter likes so many fabric patterns for her bed spread that I´m considering a quilt to use as many as I can. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat top finish, When they are big I think of a top as a good finish then add it to the to be Quilted pile. My pile is big these days.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors. This is one my must make list. Well done.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt, love the colors. I've made one and have say I've been thinking a second one too :)
ReplyDeleteOh that's pretty! I love this pattern and hope to give it a try myself someday.... Whoop whoop!!
ReplyDeleteNice top finish - I love that pattern too! I hope you find some time to quilt it soon (totally understand that dilemma though!)
ReplyDeleteSuch an attractive quilt! Hope you get it all quilted up soon!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful top, Mina. Great colour and fabric combo!
