Hands 2 Help Challenge - Final

Today is the day to link up our projects for the Hands to Help Challenge. This is my second year and I know that I will be back again next year for a 3rd time.

I am very happy to say that I have met my goals for this year - improve my machine quilting from last year, make one quilt for each of the 3 organizations, and to make a masculine quilt.
I had a difficult time trying to design a masculine quilt, but I think this simple striped quilt works out well and was sent to Happy Chemo.
This quilt was made as part of the Molli Sparkles Broken Herringbone QAL and was sent to Happy Chemo.
The lovebug quilt was sent to Quilts of Compassion.
This quilt was made for the Le Challenge theme of "Bright" and was sent to the Hurricane Sandy Survivors.
This quilt was made for the Le Challenge theme of "Nature" and was also sent to the Hurricane Sandy Survivors.
Thank you so much to Sarah for all the work that goes into organizing and hosting this event.
Please check out all the other quilts created for this years challenge, and I hope that you consider joining in the fun for next year's challenge.

  1. Beautiful quilts...and high five on the masculine one. We need to make more masculine and gender neutral quilts!

  2. You've made some beautiful quilts, Mina! I'm sure they will all be much appreciated. Nice job on the masculine quilt, especially!

  3. Very pretty quilts. All of them will bring much comfort and give quilty hugs.

  4. Great quilts! I love your Love Bug idea. Mind if I try my hand at a similar idea? I think I'll do mine block size.

  5. Mina, they are all just gorgeous! The masculine one is oh so masculine - great work! And that love bug quilt is just adorable! The colors in the herringbone quilt are vibrant, and the "Le Challenge" quilts are just beautiful, and even more so in person! Thanks so much for joining in the Challenge again, and I hope to see you next year!

  6. Great quilts. I really love the solids and honestly that love bug is so lovable!! Nice job with the quilting too!

  7. Beautiful! I really love your pink sparkle one!

  8. wow those are all beautiful and I think they will definitely bless the people who receive them. I only did one quilt this year, but hope to do more next year.
