MUST NOT GIVE IN.........MUST STAY STRONG.........MUST NOT START NEW PROJECTS!!
I just did a quick count of the projects on my work surface and it is 6. Yes, 6 projects right here on my table. I keep wanting to start something new, but I think it's time to tackle the growing stack of WIPs (Works In Progress).
During the Christmas season, I asked for scraps and wow, did I get a bunch of scraps. There was almost no need to sort them by color because they were overwhelmingly blue.
I thought that all of these varied blue scraps would look fun as foxes. I have almost enough finished to make my first charity quilt top for 2017. It doesn't have a home just yet, but I am sure that it will find one soon. I have a feeling that it will be ready for an upcoming quilt drive for children with cancer.
Maybe if I can get focused and stop thinking about new projects, this will be my first finish of 2017.
Linking today to the new linky party on Wednesdays at Kat & Cat Quilts for charity related projects.
Thanks for linking up, Mina! Those fixes are too cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great block to make with scraps! Is that Elizabeth Hartman's pattern?
